Sheldon is an investment professional with over 25 years of M&A advisory and business development experience, where he has advised on more than $40 billion in deal value. Sheldon has assisted international companies (in the UAE, UK, Asia and Latin America), startup operations, and regional insurance carriers. His experience covers the property and casualty and life/health insurance markets, including working with insurance carriers, managing general agencies/MGU’s, wholesalers, retailers and third-party administrators. Additionally, Sheldon has worked with numerous clients in the healthcare and financial services industries.
As President of Rockshore Advisors, Sheldon is one of a handful of corporate finance specialists who are ‘advisors of choice’ for US insurance brokers looking for the best sector M&A expertise.
Prior to starting Rockshore Advisors, Sheldon served as Head of International M&A and Business Development for Aetna International. Previously he worked at AIG for more than 17 years in various executive level M&A and business development positions around the world. Here he was responsible for buying and selling numerous businesses on behalf of the AIG. Before joining AIG, Sheldon spent four years at Hanwa Company LTD, a Japanese investment Company, and three years at the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche
