REQUIREMENT

Identify the most attractive and buyable IPMI targets according to certain criteria

CHALLENGE

The client was doing very well organically but the new growth targets were so high that adding some inorganic growth was needed. The question was: what was attractive and buyable?

SOLUTION

MGG first hypothesised the target list to meet a set of criteria and agreed with the client to focus on ~12 targets, globally. It then profiled those, through secondary research and by taking direct contact with the owner/s. Ultimately it shortlisted 5 targets, from >$1bn to $20m in GWP and did the introductions.
