CHALLENGE

The client was keen to continue its global expansion in TPA and other services into the growing region of Sub Saharan Africa, where it didnt have any presence. The client's criteria was that the targte had to be as big as possible, have a well respected brand, have a steady growth history and be available for a full purchase over a 3 year period.

SOLUTION

MGG first selected the key SSA territories as well as a pan-region approach. It identified and screened over 35 companies before shortlisting 3. Post agreement of the selection, MGG effected introductions. 2 entered a sale process, during which MGG organised data transfer, valuation, management of key concerns and the offer/negotiation phase.

The client selected its preferred target but droped out of auction process that then ensued. It's conversation with the other target continues.
