GLOBAL HEALTHCARE STRATEGY

Working Opportunities

Associates & Consultants - Talk to us!

Health insurance or services Expert

Our business relies on global health experts. We have ~60 ‘associates’ to date but people move on and new areas, especially in digital health/services, keep appearing and so we need to keep up to date.

If you have good experience or good connections in consulting or EB broking or various functions in health insurance and health services, and would be interested to team up with us, then we would be thrilled to hear from you. We work globally so any country will be considered. Sometimes it’s a useful stop-gap between jobs. Other times you may be a one-man band in an adjacent niche and needing help on a larger job. We are always open to a conversation.

Would be Consultant?

Similarly, while we have a small internal team, we do offer occasional opportunities for graduates and experienced consultants.

The McGrigor Group (MGG)

The differentiating central themes amongst its services are globalisation, growth acceleration and futurisation. It has 4 divisions: Growth Consulting, M&A, Global health Research Publishing and Specialty Services.

The Role
MGG is looking to hire a Consultant to join its team. The role will be to lead the research, analysis, and solution development of a range of strategic growth and M&A projects.
Answering to a Project Director with ultimate client/project responsibility, the consultant will be the lynchpin for the project delivery. Consultants will run, in parallel, a small portfolio of different projects across McGrigor Group’s divisions.
They will be in charge of planning the workstreams, managing the output of research associates, interfacing with clients and creating high quality presentation materials, which will clearly explain the solutions suggested.
Consultants will also conduct their own research and analysis of the more complex parts of a project, and will take the lead in mid-tier client and senior interviewee meetings.
There will be good exposure to a range of clients up to the highest levels and to multiple information resources. Anticipation of the client’s changing needs, management of project scope, attention to new work opportunities will all be necessary skills.
Internally, the consultant will act as a senior role model and trainer.

Prospects
Growing with clients, topics and projects is the main progression route. This can be very fast for the right candidate. Developing the ability and maturity to grow and later initiate further or new workstreams is the destination for the consultant.
At this point, which is expected after 7-8 years of strategic consulting (wherever learned), the position of engagement manager is the goal. McGrigor Group is very keen and open for such candidates to then lead a part of the business portfolio.
