New research associate, Alejandra Rodarte, joins MGG from LSE
Back in November 2019, Alejandra beat off strong competition to take the Research Analyst job opportunity. She started her new role on the 4th of March, as planned. It was certainly an interesting time to start as the whole UK went into lockdown later that month. ‘Ale’ hails from Mexico where she studied Economics at the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology before heading to the London School of Economics to study for an MSc in Healthcare Management. Her dissertation was on “Inequalities in the competence of primary health providers between rural and urban areas in Haiti”. Ale speaks fluent Spanish and is continuing her passion for learning languages through weekly lessons in French and also a bit of Chinese. Whilst in Mexico, Ale co-founded an educational start-up which leads her to be selected as one of 15 people from Latin America to attend a programme from the University of Berkeley called Innovation for Equality. We are delighted to have her as a member of our team.
